The US is in the process of removing restrictions against the country of Cuba.
This is a good thing. However, one must wonder why the US is doing this now.
Could this new found interest in Cuba be due to the financial collapse which is coming later this year? If so, what role would Cuba play in the aftermath of a crisis?
I don't know but I do know that the US doesn't do anything which is contrary to either its current or prior interests without some significant purpose or reason. We need to keep an eye on this change in policy. <My gut tells e it has to do with investments that the banks and others want to make in the country of Cuba. The question is whose money will they be investing there?
